      Service Sales Representative Interview

      7 May 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Toronto, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Cintas (Toronto, ON)

      Interview

I initially applied on a Sunday night and was called by someone at HR Tuesday morning and did a phone interview, the HR manager then asked me to come in for an interview the next day (Wednesday) Wednesday came and I was interviewed by the HR manager, I guess I did well because I was asked if I could stick around for another interview with 2 supervisors. After being interviewed by them they seemed really impressed and asked if I could come in for a ride along Thursday (not paid) The ride along went great I worked really hard and the SSR seemed really nice, he introduced me to everyone as if I was already hired. I felt really confident I had the job. When I returned to the plant I was told to wait for another interview. I waited in the lobby 20 mins before the HR manager came out and said come back tomorrow for another two interviews and bring a driver's abstract. So on Friday I came in with my driver's abstract and waited in the lobby. After a bit of a wait 2 managers came and interviewed me again. They then took my abstract and had me wait in the lobby for the "final stage" of the interview process which was an interview with the GM. I thought this was going to be more of a formality and an overview of salary and benefits but it definitely wasn't. I thought I answered all his tough questioning well but at the end of the interview he said everyone meets and decides if you're a good fit, and regardless I should expect a phone call telling me the outcome. So I didn't end up getting the job or a phone call or any explanation of why I wasn't hired. I hope this long story helps some people out who will go through the interview process. Don't get your hopes up just because you're getting asked to come back for interviews, last one is the one that counts.
