I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Climatiq in Mar 2025
Interview
The recruitment process at Climatiq was thorough, engaging, and professionally conducted. It consisted of four main stages: an initial high-level conversation with the CTO, two technical interviews (one focused on machine learning methodologies and another to discuss a take-home technical challenge), and a final discussion involving product management and logistics around employment conditions. Additionally, there was a brief conversation dedicated specifically to discussing contract details, compensation, and benefits.
Interview questions were insightful and relevant, focusing on both practical and theoretical aspects of machine learning, NLP, and information retrieval.
Overall, I found everyone I spoke with to be very friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent. The interviews felt conversational rather than interrogative, which created a comfortable atmosphere. Communication throughout the process was prompt and clear, with feedback provided regularly after each stage.

Question 1
How would you integrate labelled data from multiple annotators?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Climatiq
Interview
Had a call directly with CPO, who was kind of unorganised and seemed rushed. Technical questions mixed with more personality related questions. No real structure.
Was promised feedback within a couple of days, then actually had to wait over 2 weeks for a copy paste rejections.
Requests for some more detailed feedback were ignored.
Bad experience and happy not to work for them
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Climatiq (Berlin) in Nov 2024
Interview
Had to spend at least 4 hours for test task. Presented my solution, explained potential issues and required steps to solve them in the future. Questions in my opinion were not fully related to my solution and were not aimed at checking technical skills. Couldn't understand the point of question, after several attempts of clarifying the question, gave and answer reinforced with real life experience examples. For me it was very hard to say if I failed at some point. There were no any obvious moment when I didn't know the answer or clearly said something wrong.
But in the end - rejection (which I'm not complaining about). And no explanation why (even in 2-3 sentences).
