Interview
So this company came to our campus, NITW. And they first said it was a 3 round process.
First round was a written test where basic coding and problem solving questions were asked.
Ex: write a code to check if a string is palindrome or not
Later was a Group Discussion round.
The organisation of the Gd was pathetic. i didn't even like the way they present the topic for discussion and the no. Of ppl they assigned for a gd.
Third round was personal interview, where they asked me a puzzle which included binary search implementation, a dijkstras algorithm, questions on projects in resume, I kept two full stack and one ML project on which in depth question were asked. Later two beginner lvl system design question like explaining about what was dns, caches and design of short url.
After 3 rounds I dont know what happened but the companies team said that there will be 2 more rounds after this.
Sudden change of recruitment we didn't understand why.
Later we had to visit the company in hyd.
After going to the company the behaviour of the employees was very very bad. So this offer was opened to all the branches in our College. But most of the Circuital Branch ppl didn't apply for the ctc they offered. Hence they were truly disappointed that non circuital guys like us were selected in their recruitment process.
So they tried all the ways to make us feel inferior.
They said there will be a founder round and the founder literally frustrated on us and was asking us questions about Computer architecture, assembly code etc. I mean like when he knows that we aren't from cs branch why does he ask these questions or whats the point of selecting us?
And the Hr just came to us and said we were dumb.
In my founders interview he asked me questions on again the string palindrome now the string can be a sentence, dijkstras algorithm, stack and queues, operating system, dbms and other resume based questions.
Since I answered those questions they selected me for hr.
But the hr comes to me and says I was not fit for the pay they offered so they said they will offer me less than what they proposed for.
i refused the offer politely. But the Hr said " do you even have any offers? Why are you rejecting?"
I may not have offers but I wouldn't join a company that treats others like this.
The company already came up with an offer that is less than our clg avg ctc. Yet we applied, I was even happy because I thought this was a good company. But by god's grace I found the true side of this company and rejected the offer.
