I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Comcast (Harrisburg, PA) in Jul 2015
Interview
Filled out an application online, two days later I was sent a personality quiz / call center tryout. Three days after that I was called to schedule a phone interview which led to an in person interview. The in person interview lasted around 4 hours where they brought in around 20 of us to fill 14 positions for a training class, we had to watch a video and then we were taken individually for interviews, after my interview the lady asked if I could wait for a minute where she left the room with the training supervisor , they came back in and asked if I would be willing to meet with another supervisor which I agreed to, I was brought into a room with several other interviewees and then met with a man from HR. They called the next day to offer the position. The whole process took around two weeks.
The process was straight forward with little experience needed. Anyone the has very good communication skills will be perfect for the job. This is a great opportunity for beginners in the job market.
It was quick and tedious. Interviewing supervisors we not incredibly friendly. The process was longer than I thought it needed to be for a call center entry level job. You can find a better job.

Interview
Pretty standard interview. If you get accepted through the first round, they'll send you an email about taking the assessment. The assessment is a job demo with different scenarios. Make sure you write things down as you go and pay attention!
