This was the most unorganized series of events for an interview I’ve ever encountered! First, the recruiter was late getting everyone in the conference room. There were about 20 of us in the room to hear about the job duties and ask questions. Once that was finished, the recruiters had to break up the group due to lack of enough computers. There, is where all confusion broke loose. The lady conducting the exercise, “mock call” conveyed such ambiguity to what she expected us to do with this call; everyone was so confused how she wanted us to capture everything that she was looking for in the notes. No format instructions! Nothing!Needless to say, the recruiters based their interview prospects on who captured the best or accurate notes. And me along with 15 other candidates were sent on our way. This was so disappointing; I took a full day of work, not to mention fully prepping myself for an interview and it didn’t happen. They finally mentioned there were only 4 positions, and their judgment for the best candidates were based off of an unorganized mock call notes? My biggest question is who does this type of backwards interviewing? There should’ve have been clear expectations on what the process was before emailing everyone with an interview time and date!
