I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DPR Construction (Austin, TX) in Mar 2015
Interview
Classic round-robin interview style. They sat me in a conference room and made sure I felt comfortable before sending in several rounds of 3-4 employees to interview me. The interview felt relaxed and engaging. The questions were pretty standard. Felt more like a conversation than an interview. Each interviewer allowed/encouraged me to ask them questions as well.
I applied through university. I interviewed at DPR Construction
Interview
4 hours long interview, 4 one-on-one interviews (15 min each), group activities with other candidates, final video confession to record following up a question and a final pizza get togther.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DPR Construction (Raleigh, NC)
Interview
Very non traditional, had to do team building exercises with people I’m directly interviewing against. Based off this I ruled out dpr as an employee I would work for. Did 5 min speed interviews with 5 groups of 3.
Relaxed and enjoyable, 5 different interviews all were not too bad. Interviewing for personality, they do not ask you any test questions. They just want to see your enthusiasm for building things.
