Interview
Relatively old school process akin to Slaughters. Held in the same academic league on the spectrum of law interviews. Huge emphasis on numerous written application questions - they take a lot of time but it's used as an initial filter, so do apply yourself to it.
- Emphasis on accuracy, precision and depth/substance of content in the articles interview held at the offices with Associate and Partner or Counsel
- This element is repeated in the actual Vac Scheme as well.

Question 1
Article interview from the FT in the recent past relative to interview date. Don't try and find the article - it can be an archived one as well. Just be smart and on your toes. Given time ahead of the interview to read through the article and make notes. They are all very friendly people, so don't beat yourself up!

Interview
Started with a tour of the firm and a short talk by the Training Partner. The 30-minute long interview was entirely based on a short FT article from 2021. It was led by 2 partners. The article was about regulations barring a foreign company from a joint venture in the UK. They caught me on a slight contradiction and gave me a chance to change my opinion, but I fumbled the bag.

Question 1
Why would this foreign company want to be in a joint venture? Why not a purchase? Why did it pursue this target company?
