I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Decathlon (Amsterdam) in Jul 2022
Interview
Very simple conversation of around 30 minutes (why do you want this job and why here, do you have any previous experience in customer service), after which I was offered a job.
Began with an informal call with the hiring manager simply asking a few questions about me and my fit for the team, then I was requested for a formal interview at the store, very informal and relaxed.

Question 1
How would you deal with customers when they may be difficult or confrontational
The interview was of easy to medium difficulty. It’s important to do your homework on the company’s profile and vision beforehand. They began by explaining the job description, followed by a quiz to assess our understanding. Personally, I didn’t prefer this approach, as it’s difficult to fully grasp everything from a one-time explanation.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and why you want to work with the company.
Very good experience with a skilled manager, even if they're more likely recruting people from their stores than real account managers. This may be not so good, but during the interview they were friendly and flexible
