I applied online. I interviewed at Deepgram (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2026
Interview
My interview experience with Deepgram was not very positive. The interviewer, Nick Poe, joined the call late, and from the beginning it felt like his attention was not fully on the conversation.
The discussion itself was fairly brief. I was asked about my experience, but the overall interaction felt rushed and lacked engagement. When I asked questions about the role and company, the responses were short and came across as uninterested, which made it difficult to get a clear understanding of the opportunity.
Overall, the interview felt more like a formality than a meaningful conversation.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Deepgram in Feb 2026
Interview
Easy interview, interviewer was friendly but not skilled at all, he was actually in the bed and forgot to change the background at first. At the end he promised the technical interview next, but I was ghosted after that.
First round was an HR screening where they explained the interview process, discussed compensation, and shared details about the company, role expectations, team structure, and overall next steps in hiring.
