The interview process was pretty straight forward. It started with a screening call with the recruiter, followed by an interview with the hiring manager, and then one last one with another Digital Engagement Manager. Transparently, each conversation was great and the hiring manager passed me along to the next round immediately. The parts that justify a negative experience are outlined below:
1) I was supposed to have a 4th interview, which they canceled last second. After sending a confirmation email and asking for some more insight so that I’m not totally in the dark, the recruiter went ghost. They followed up a full week later with the news that I wouldn’t be moving forward.
2) After respectfully asking for some feedback on why I wasn’t moving to the next round even though I was qualified, the recruiter went ghost again.
3) During the initial screening call, the recruiter told me the salary range for this role was 90-105 base, with a 20k bonus. Right before they canceled my last interview, they updated the job posting that listed a range up to 149k.
Overall, kind of a sketchy experience.
