I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Demandbase
Interview
An external recruiter reached out to set up the initial phone conversation with the hiring manager. Then I came in for an on-site with 5-6 people. Once I passed it they asked me to prepare an assignment for the next call. They asked me to prepare a PR for a product. I did not pass this stage, which was the final one. But, oddly enough the PR process is new to them as well. So, I think that they took me as experiment to try out their new process. Honestly, I wouldn’t waste my time interviewing with a company that does not have a fair process toward candidates.

Interview
I interviewed recently with Demandbase and have had a great experience with the process.
The five-round interview process was comprehensive, allowing me to showcase my skills and learn more about the company's values. The interviewers were knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and genuinely interested in my background and ideas. They stressed the need for strong product management skills. Prioritizing skills over immediate industry knowledge highlights Demandbase's dedication to developing top talent.
The recruiter with their prompt communication and support, made the entire process seamless.

Question 1
Questions about how you work with engineering managers, other product managers. What is your framework for improving a product and How do you think about product strategy?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Demandbase (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2022
Interview
A bunch of initial emails between uncoordinated recruiters. Finally after 3 weeks a recruiter screen was set up. That was followed up with a discussion with hiring manager and a product sense discussion. Got a rejection email stating that more domain experience was needed but none of the discussions really every spoke about the actual job and my experience. Felt like a waste of time.
Questions were asked that were not needed for the job and you were judged on those. Made little sense to assess candidates as such as it does not add value to the role
