I was informed that I passed the assessment centre and there would be a final interview with the corresponding team, but after a month of waiting, I got the rejection letter.

Interview
After successfully completing the online assessment, online video recording and online assessment centre, I was told that I made it to the final interview and would hear back from HR soon. But what followed was two months of waiting and preparing, only to receive a rejection email without even having a final interview. The worse thing is EDP got back to me in between the 2 months, without even first apologising for delaying the start date, and additionally, giving me false hope that I should continue to wait for the final interview. It's frustrating to see a company that talks about receiving top employer awards in Europe failing to deliver on its promises and lacking basic communication skills. I wouldn't recommend going through the EDP recruitment process to anyone if I knew about this. It's really disappointing, this experience really shows that they don't value their applicants. I believe it is important for companies to be transparent and honest with candidates throughout the recruitment process. False hope and empty promises are really damaging to a candidate's morale, I hope EDP will towards improving its recruitment process in the future.

First round - online assessment second round - video recording ( tell me about yourself, why you want to join the EDP trainee program, what motivates you, what are your strengths) third round - group case study (work in a group to determine which energy solution is the best according to a country's given current profile )then followed by individual case study (Test you on your ability to evaluate and choose the best solution) final round- interview with a line manager from a business unit (made it to this round but no one schedule an interview with me)
The recorded online interview is for you to record yourself answering the questions in a platform they provide. There was no time limit or recording limit, so there was time to think about the answers and to record as many times as necessary to get it right.
