Epic reached out to me through Handshake, and gave a general overview of the position. The recruiter arranged an over-the-phone interview and directed me to their application page. The phone interview was with an employee in the position I was applying for, and gave me a good idea what it was like in the role. Shortly after, I was given a skills assessment- similar to an online college course proctored exam. After that was reviewed, they flew me out to Epic HQ, in Madison- the campus was beautiful, and the interview process was an entire day of meeting other TS Engineers, touring the campus, a few more assessments and details about the company. It was the most comprehensive interviewing process I've ever been in, and I feel it not only gave me a chance to show that I am capable of the role, but also allowed me to get a clear picture of what life will be like with Epic.
