Applied for the mid-level Java position via LinkedIn ad. The position required usual enterprise Java stack experience (3 years+). After I applied, a recruiter called me back and we had a usual HR chat about my experiences, expectations, etc. She told me that this position is a specific position for a client and I am a great fit for them based on my CV and our chat. She called me back a couple of days later that the client changed their mind and not promoting this position. It was a very interesting situation. I initial feeling was that the position did not even exist but Exadel wanted to gather some CV's from experienced developers. I was asked if they can store my CV and data to promote it to different customers in the future so If there is an opening position they will call me.
