Interview
The interviewer went over my resume with me then explained the company policies to me. Took me to a room where a housekeeper was already cleaning so I could get an idea of what I would be doing. Was basically hired on the spot and asked to start the next day. The salary was $8 an hour flat non-negotiable. It was a good job but very hard on your body. I only worked there a couple of days because I don't believe the pay was adequate for the type of work you're asked for. I literally felt like my back was broken after I finished every shift. The hours are EXTREMLY long. It ones of those jobs that you can't leave until the job is done. Point. Blank. Period. Because rooms have to be finished so guests can check in. If you finish all of your assigned rooms you have to stay and help another housekeeper finish her rooms. Both days I worked 11 hours each. So you definitely get hours. I would have continued to work there if it was at least $10 an hour. But again I feel like the pay for the kind of work you do is insane and how quickly you have to get everything done. Especially since they are sticklers and check the rooms after your finished and if towels don't match up or you miss some dust you must go back to the room and fix it.
I was called in for a review after submitting a resume and application online. The interview took place at the hotel. The manager of the hotel was in the lobby and took me to the conference room where we talked for a few minutes to get acquainted before the interview. He asked me a few questions and we chatted a little bit more afterwards. I was offered the position right after the interview and he would call me with further information about my start date, on boarding, etc..

Interview
When I came in they asked me to fill in an application form. It was a very easy interview, the general manager just went through my resume and application and explained some company policies. The GM only asked me one interview question and for my availability. She was very friendly, honestly she talked for the great majority of the time. Got hired on the spot and asked to work the next day.
