      Junior Web Developer Interview

      25 Apr 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fortinet (Burnaby, BC) in Apr 2019

      Interview

The whole interview will take about a month. First, the HR will contact you. Then, remote test, after that technical on-site interview. Lastly, on-site interview. I'm currently on the technical interview. Interviewers were nice, friendly. Feels like they are helping you to solve the problem not to trick you. The coding part is quite easy (of course this is a junior position). Feels like they dont really expect you know a lot but they focus on your logic. It was a very nice experience. Dont know about last on-site interview yet.

      Interview questions [3]

      Question 1

Manipulate a list using js (attach listener, add remove class, tec.). It's pretty basic, just using jquery.
      Answer question

      Question 2

Assembly pseudo language, the tutorial is in the email that HR sent to you. It requires understanding of pointers in C. It's a little bit challenging for me (beginner).
      Answer question

      Question 3

Algorithms Question. It not ask you about Big O, they focus on how you solve the problem.
