My experience with the interview process was disappointing. Communication was slow/ delayed at almost every step, sometimes taking a week just to confirm basic scheduling. Even after interviews, replies were delayed with no clear updates.
Despite this, I completed everything on my end. I was given a large case study with less than 48 hours to turn it around. I worked the entire weekend and submitted a detailed deliverable on time. I did receive a short acknowledgment two days later saying it was “under review,” but after that… complete silence. It has now been a month with no update, even after I followed up.
My advice to the management team:
If you expect candidates to put in serious time, effort, and professionalism, especially for senior roles, the same level of respect should be shown in return. A simple, timely update goes a long way. Ghosting candidates after asking them for major work is not acceptable and leaves a poor impression of the company culture.
It’s important to remember that an interview is a two-way process. Candidates invest their time too, and respectful communication reflects the organization’s values.
