      ITLP Interview

      28 Sept 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Cincinnati, OH
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Cincinnati, OH) in Aug 2015

      Interview

I applied after an internship with another GE sector. First round of interview was a 30 minute video conference interview about getting to know you and about past experiences. For the second round of interviews (2 weeks later), they flew me to Cincinnati, OH. I had 5 separate 30 minute interviews with 2 people in each room. Each room asked different types of questions (technical, behavioral, HR, etc.) Called me 3 weeks later with an offer.

      Question 1

Tell me about your past experiences. Tell me a time when you had to work with someone you didn't see eye-to-eye with. Why General Electric?

      Anonymous employee
      Cincinnati, OH
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Cincinnati, OH) in Oct 2013

      Interview

Behavioral based - Very fair, they decided to test on past experiences. The experience did not necessarily have to relate to Information Technology, but there was a big emphasis on leadership and leadership experience. The interview was 30 minutes long and it took most of the time to answer the questions. The interview was with one person who was very polite and friendly.
