      Customer Service Engineer Interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GE HealthCare in Jul 2012

      Interview

The interview for me was to determine my patience which was required for a service engineer. The interview was a stress interview. The questions were basic electrical but the interviewer wont allow u to answer the entire question and would interrupt you as frequently as possible sometimes switching between questions. The most questions will be from ur resume and the interviewer would like u to explain about it and then he may try to disagree ur point and create a false environment of tension. The interviewer tried to make me uncomfortable by rejecting my answers even if they were right. So don't think that u r wrong and give up during half of the interview.

      Question 1

Why don't go for higher studies, why don't you go for the company where I have done my intern, watching or playing cricket is difficult we had a very long discussion on it and similarly on the present day music.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GE HealthCare (Dhaka) in Jan 2025

      Interview

I had a 50-minute interview with GE Healthcare. While I appreciated the opportunity, the interview process was somewhat different from what I expected. Rather than focusing on technical knowledge and skills relevant to the role, most of the questions were centered around my long-term career plans—specifically whether I would stay with the company or leave for higher education or other opportunities. While I understand the importance of employee retention, I felt that this focus overshadowed the chance to discuss my qualifications and expertise in more depth. Overall, the experience was professional, but I would have preferred a more balanced approach, where both technical competence and career aspirations were considered equally.

      Question 1

Where do you see yourself in the next 3-5 years? Do you plan to pursue higher education or switch to another company?
