Interview
After applying for another role, I was informed that my profile would suit the SDR role better. The first round interview with the HR was great they were extremely understanding and thoughtful about my visa sponsorship status. The second round interview was a sales call simulation in which I achieved my objective and was told I did well. I was told I'd get the outcome of my application in 3-4 working days. After no response for one week, I followed up but again there was no response. Another week and follow up mail was sent but still the same outcome. Finally, after 2 weeks I was told that even though I met all the requisite criteria my application was rejected as they found someone else. I'm aware that rejections are inevitable in the job application process, but keeping me waiting for 2+ week just to find other people seemed quite unfair and insulting.
