Quick and easy process...but I have heard some interview processes at Genentech can take months. I was already a contractor for a 18 months, when an opening came up within the department I had to apply externally and go through 4 rounds of panel interviews.
The interview process for a contractor position was based on written hypotheticals. The interview included multiple scenario questions as well as real world examples. The interview was a set procedure by GNE and it set the tone.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Genentech

4 Round Interview Process. The interviewers were friendly and reasonable in their questions. In addition, they did a group interview where they interviewed candidates in a group setting (not the other way around).

This was a position for contract drafting and they asked me how to calculate EBITDA. Thank goodness, I knew how but it was out of left field.
