I interviewed at the Waterloo location. I initially had a phone interview. All went well. Then I was invited for an in-person interview. I met with 3 of their employees, and had typical interview questions. It must have taken at least an hour. Then they had me sit at a computer and do a technical assessment, related to wastewater engineering. That was at least another hour. They told me they would let me know within 4 weeks. Well, 4 weeks went by and they didn't contact me. So I waited, until it was finally 8 weeks later. I emailed them asking for an update, and they said they have given the position to a more experienced candidate. That's fine, but if you say you are going to contact me within 4 weeks, then do so. How long would it take you to send me an email saying, "sorry we have gone with another candidate"? Total disrespect to me as a candidate.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Geosyntec Consultants (Waterloo, ON)
Interview
I first had a ~30 minute phone interview. Then, a week later I went in to their office for an in-person interview. Most questions were standard and related to my experience and how I would be suited for the role. They also gave me an engineering case-study to work through on a computer for ~1 hour.
They said they would let me know their decision in the next month. After waiting 2 months and not hearing any response, I emailed them and they told me they had hired someone else. Thanks for letting me know...
