Applied online. Got a response with 10 questions and were asked to answer before screening call. No point in spending time to answer those questions. Technical recruiter does not even know what those questions are and does not even take a look at your answers before screening call. Same questions were asked in screening question again, no importance were given in discussing your previous experience or projects at all. Got response saying that they found better fit with reason - "who had more relevant working experience on the projects ". There was no discussion about the projects I have worked on previously and also my open source contributions. Since there was no importance given to the projects I had worked on, I was surprised on the rejection reason. So I mailed them back to get more specifics on what previous project experience the team was looking. Got the same template rejection saying that they cannot disclose project names. I'm not sure what is there to be disclosed when the team is looking for a previous experience in working on a open source project. Because no tech recruiter will be able to assess the candidate on the internal projects which one had worked previously. All in all I would suggest to stay away from applying for any role in this company, they just don't respect candidate's time and when asked for feedback you get only generic responses.
