I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GitLab in Nov 2022
Interview
The first few interviews went very well, the manager was wonderful and so was HR. However, the technical interview was one of the most disrespectful calls I have ever been on. I was told that part of my presentation was "cringe-worthy" and when I was asked a question in my second language I was told that I "answered perfectly, but the few hesitations were extremely disappointing". I felt as if I was there to boost one of the interviewer's ego. At the very end I was told that I was "pleasant to look at". Mind you this company reached out to me to interview for this position. I would never recommend any one to go through this process (especially women)
