      Engineering Manager Interview

      27 Mar 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Green Street in Mar 2026

      Interview

The first part is a screening with HR, followed by an online test with a few technical tasks, and you get instructions on what to expect. I guess if the results are satisfying, you are invited on-site for a follow-up tech interview. For me, the technical part was easy.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I do not understand this part; they are looking for a senior dev, hiding behind the title of engineering manager. Did not get any behavior questions, only technical, architecture, and algorithm questions. They did not care about my people skills; they only cared about my technical knowledge. It seems the position is mostly focused on development and does not align with the job expectations and description. Anyway, I shared that the position wasn't what I expected, and I quickly got a rejection. Anyway, based on the position's expectations, I would decline.
