I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Guidepoint (New York, NY) in Mar 2017
Interview
I applied online and received an initial phone interview with an HR rep. After the phone interview, I had a skype interview with two research managers. After the skype interview, I interviewed on site at the Guidepoint office. I met with 4 different members (two of them being the research managers I met previously on skype) along with an HR rep--all very friendly and mostly asked questions pulled from my resume, why I was interested in the company, and what I expected from the position. They sent me a mock project to complete soon after and a certain amount of time to complete. I heard back with an offer about a week later. Declined due to another competing offer, but the office environment seemed very friendly.
I thought the initial call went well and then they never contacted me again. Very unprofessional of them in my opinion, at least reject me rather than ghosting me. It sounded like a cool job too.
