Few days after applying online I received a phone call from the store manager. Was asked a few questions such as my retail background, why H&M and my availability. Was then given a time and date to come in. Met with the store manager and deputy manager. The atmosphere was very relaxed and felt more like a casual conversation than an interview. A week later received a call letting me know I was unsuccessful as they thought candidates who had previously worked for H&M possessed stronger leadership skills.
