I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at HCL (Vellore) in Aug 2017
Interview
We had a technical exam(written exam),they covered all basic electronics questions ,which included adc,dac,microcontrollers,analog questions.
There was another stream(exam) for students who opted for VLSI(DLD).
hardware and VLSI were two streams ,finally they took more students from VLSI.

Question 1
I was shortlisted for the second round (Hardware stream). Second round was Technical interview.
In interview,they asked about the questions which I correctly answered in written exam.then they asked basic ece questions (basic analog circuits). then they asked regarding my favorite subject , (basic microcontroller questions).
Then proceeded by my resume ,which included my projects.
