Very simple questions, if you have interviewed before you will do fine. They asked about my experience as a student and what my future goals were. Then they explained what I would be doing as an intern and the type of work I would be handling. I met with the controller of the department then the 2 staff employees under the controller.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at HFR Asset Management
Applied via career services at school. Received an email approximately one week later. After expressing interest in the position, I was asked to draft a memo to bring to the interview. It was a simple office memo describing new securities regulations. 3-4 pages, they just wanted an answer. The interview itself was your standard "Can-we-deal-with-this-person-everyday" stuff. They about why I went to law school, asked about activities and other jobs from my resume, and it turned out my study abroad was a good talking point.
- The memo was unexpected, but not terribly difficult even without any previous securities regulation exposure.
