I applied through university. I interviewed at Halliburton in Nov 2014
Interview
Was an interview session at a university. It was a standard interview with challenging questions. More about experience solving problems. Not many personal questions. After the first interview session, they invited people they were interested in to a second overnight interview. They bought a nice dinner, breakfast, and lunch. It was more of a hangout session with current employees than an interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked for a lot of detailed information about times that I solved problems. They wanted the whole story. It was a little intimidating. I recommend thinking about past times you messed up and how you fixed it, stressful situations you encountered and how you dealt with it, and times when you did not agree with a boss and how you told them.
HR scheduled a Teams interview with my manager. It took about 30 mins and I got a verbal offer after about 2 weeks. After that, I did a few rounds of medical check-ups, which took a few weeks. Then got a contract after that was passed.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Halliburton in Jun 2022

1st round was basic resume questions and more info about the job. 2nd round was behavioral questions and lasted about an hour. It's a really easy interview if you practice.
