I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Halliburton in Nov 2010
Interview
Haliburton came to our school. Did a 1 on 1 interview. Asked, how to keep a customer happy?. Pretty easy. They then paid for a plane ticket to Denver, and spent the day showing us the wireline facility there and trying to convince us not to take the job. Then had a 1 on 2 interview that lasted 20 minutes. They asked have you ever McGuivered anything and why are manhole covers round...easy stuff. Asked a little about leadership, and if you mind working crazy hours. I got back 2 days ago and am sure they will make an offer. They liked my military experience more than my degree or grades.
