I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby
Interview
Very thorough application and interview process. Applied online. Exchanged emails and phone calls, then had a phone interview followed by a lengthy and challenging (but not unfairly difficult) online assessment. It is very clearly an aggressive screening process both in terms of the difficulty of the questions and the time required to complete it (2+ hours). Then 7-10 references are required with a goal for at least 5 to respond. If they are interested in you after all that you'll have a face to face interview, background check, and official offer.
Horrible. Very quick interview scheduled and professional interview but it’s unrealistic to expect 7-10 references that are professional only. Most companies don’t even allow employees to give references so to make that a minimum to move in in today’s world is ridiculous.
The recuiter met me at the door and showed me around the store explaining expectations right off th bat. He then took me to the office and asked me standard interview questions for a leadership position.
Electronic notification of interest followed by phone interview which lasted about a half hour. Next was an in-person interview with recruiter, a written self assessment, on-site tour of a store, some interaction with current management and associates.
