Interview
I interviewed twice for this role. The first interview was via Zoom. The hiring process seemed extremely disorganized. The interviewer called me by a different name and did not seem aware of my resume or background. I was invited on site for a second interview at the end of the meeting. The second interview was just a tour, lasted around 30 min. I was told I would hear back within 2 weeks and never had any other communication after several attempts to follow up. I interviewed with this company again for another role after this experience as I was excited about the company. This hiring manager seemed more communicative and said I would be contacted within the week about next steps. However, I did not hear back again. Based on the hiring practices, I do not think this would be a positive and communicative work culture.
Do your research ahead of time. Know about the resort and it's history. Show a real grasp of understand of how to work with people and customer service---think of actual examples from your own experience where you have demonstrated skills in customer relations, handeling disgruntled customers, and exceeding expectations.
