I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at HotDoc
Interview
Spent many days and weeks throughout the interview process, only to be rejected in the final round.
The process included a technical round with a senior/head, another technical round with team members, a case study followed by an hour-long debrief, and a final round with heads of different divisions.
The initial rounds were well-organized and engaging except for the last one, felt the expectations for the role were quite high compared to the pay range.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A lot of STAR Type questions with obvious tech related questions.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HotDoc (Melbourne) in Sept 2020
Interview
Offensive and rude.
No clarity on interview process, and culture interview was slightly offensive.
First few rounds were fantastic, the team were great and the work was promising and exciting.
Got verbal offer and was asked to hand in notice at current job before getting a written offer. Was then told there were more interviews - a chat with CEO and CTO.
I’m Irish, and was told by the CTO that the “Irish were overrepresented at this company”.
2 weeks later, after emailing them many times, I was told that I wasn't a fit as I didn't seem passionate enough about the health tech industry
