I applied through university. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Berlin) in Jul 2025
Interview
Applied online through the careers portal and was contacted by a recruiter within two weeks. The process consisted of three rounds: an initial 30-minute HR screening covering background and motivation, followed by a technical phone interview with an engineer focused on machine learning fundamentals, coding, and a short system design discussion. The final round was a panel interview with two senior researchers and a hiring manager, which included deeper technical questions, a research presentation, and behavioural questions. Overall the experience was professional and the recruiter kept me informed at each stage.
