I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Idaho National Laboratory (Idaho Falls, ID) in Nov 2009
Interview
They sit you at a table with a 3 person panel and alternate questions towards you. It is fairly informal. They like to make sure you know your stuff by asking specific questions regarding the industry you work in. the individuals that conduct the interviews are very relaxed and friendly. My advice would be to come prepared knowing the specifics of the industry and it helps to know someone in the company that you can talk about.
A 30 minute interview that consisted if behavioral questions mainly and one technical question. There were multiple people taking turns asking questions. Overall super nice experience although I was nervous.
The interview process consisted of a 30-minute virtual technical discussion with members of the team. The session began with brief introductions, followed by an overview of my academic background and relevant research or project experience.
Idaho National laboratory was very straight forward and fair with their process. I felt heard and seen and I got some valuable information during my process interviewing with this company.
