I went to grugram iipm for PI , GD, GT. There after completing my document verification i was sent for the lunch. After having my lunch I went for my interview. After interview I went for my gd then gt. After that process was completed and we were sent to our homes back. Interview was fine. It was average.

IOCL came to our college(tier-1) for campus recruitment. From my college 6 people were shortlisted and i was one of them. The recruitment process included 1 personal interview , group discussion and group task.
Gd/Gt were conducted after the interview and the topics were not that hard and is similar what you might find from internet if you type GD or GT topics.
As this recruitment for ec guys, the portion of technical questions asked were less and more centred on personal skills and projects.

HR qs include-introductions,tell me ur hobbies,tell ur interests...when i said i'm a movie buff..interviewer asked me my fav movie, movie that had a big impact one me, my partcipation on college activities, whether u will be ok if get posted in assam(i'm from south), why do you want to recruit you.
tecnical-fav subjects(digital electrnics), telll us a component that had a huge impact on electronics industry, why is silicon special, where do u find transistor, a semiconductor deviice inside fan.....
