Initial communication via calls, first two rounds of interview were online tests. Final round of interview included talks with the manager. Overall good experience in the entire hiring and interview process.

Interview
I interviewed for the technical writer position onsite at Cisco. Standard stuff, did a writing test then went to the Cisco site to meet the hiring manager and some of my future team members. We hit it off straightaway and we were both excited for me to start. The next day I received a call from HR saying I'd gotten the job. We haggled a bit on salary, then the official offer was sent out.
... However, this is where things got interesting/shockingly unprofessional. I needed a fulltime work visa to work there as I was on a WHA at the time. Apparently no one in HR had thought to ask this during the lengthy hiring process. The moment this came up, HR said they had to rescind my offer - which they had already sent out to me, in writing! and that was it. No apologies, no nothing. Never seen anything like it before in my life. Considering the fact that I'd spent time and money to travel out to the rather remote office for the onsite interview, not to mention the three hours for the long writing test, I expected better. Judging from some of the reviews here it looks like I dodged a bullet.

Interview
HR screening (telephonic), Written test, Manager round, and final HR round. All were telephonic or online. The questions were quite straight forward and the interviewers were congenial. The Written test was quite lengthy but easy. The overall experience was satisfactory.
