After applying through an online portal ,I was contacted by the recruiter and had 2 round of telephonic discussion with HR , they gave me 2 home assignment ,one with postgre sql and python . Both the home assignments were time based and fairly complex .Please remember both are elimination round . HR will assist you if required. Then the technical manager called me for the next round . Me as a hadoop developer did well in the interview ,but the company is working entirely on the postgre and snowflakes .Hence from his conversation I came to know that he is not interested on me as I am from a different background .
In my resume I did not mention Postgre/snowflakes then why did you guys selected my resume and wasted so much of my time

never spoke to Instacart HR, staffing agency forwarded my profile when I applied to that position via linkedin. Later Instacart HR sent an email with Hackerrank link to solve sql related questions.

Interview
Interview involves HR interview, SQL challenge, data model and scripting challenge, phone with hiring manager and onsite interview.
I took SQL challenge and then data model and scripting challenge. After Scripting challenge there was no proper communication from HR. Not even an acknowledgement that they have received my submission. I spent 2 days for the scripting challenge/DM challenge but what I got a automated rejection from HR tool. HR didn't have a courtesy to reach out me in person to inform about the results (not even an email). After I received the automated email, I reached out to HR for the feedback about the data model and scripting challenge. I haven't gotten any feedback from them till now. I felt like I wasted my time by taking the challenge. I wish I had read the earlier glass door review about the interview process.
Also there is some information for the data model and I took that information and designed the data warehouse. It is not very clear whether candidates are required to reach out to hiring manager for more questions to develop data model or just use the information which is already given to develop the data model.
