I don’t know what this company is looking for. Time and time again, staffing agencies submitted me to Instacart for 3+ years only to never hear back. This time, I got a response and I had a quick 30-minute interview with their Design Leader. Basic questions asked including what you’re primarily working on the past years, how comfortable are you using certain apps, and what type of assets you’ve designed. I gave quite an amount of energy to this interview so the results surprised me. I was practically a 100% match to the role in every aspect yet they didn’t move forward with me. I got a rejection email within a day but they claimed the position is no longer available. This was for a temporary contract job too. Also, red flag, as the company claims they’re AI-first. I spoke to candidates for the creative jobs and they told me their experience has been the same with this company. Instacart seems to waste peoples’ time just to keep themselves looking busy and growing.
