Shortly after submitting my application, I was emailed by the recruiter to set up a 30 minute phone screen. She was very friendly and asked about my background, what I was looking for, and detailed the company/role for me.
Within two hours after the phone screen, I was emailed to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager for the role, which was scheduled within the same week. The interview was typical- I was given a more detailed overview of the department and more specifics of the role, and was asked questions about both my background and work style. I was asked to elaborate on some of my past experience and given some hypothetical work scenarios to navigate. I was told that a third, more comprehensive interview would be scheduled with members of their team if they were interested.
After two weeks, I received an email from the recruiter that they were moving forward with other candidates that they felt had better experience/were a better fit.
Overall a normal interview process, with upfront expectations and timely communication.
