I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Isaacs Moving & Storage (Stoughton, MA) in Mar 2016
Interview
This was a group interview with the general manager, department manager and two owners. It was a standard basic interview only the tone was a bit bullying. The company seemed paranoid about your interest and take on a dictator position by giving you 3 psychological questionares to test if you lie or steal. One of the owners Ami was the most unfriendly persons I ever met who wouldn't even look me in the eye and was the most paranoid of why I wanted to work there.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you want to work here?
Are you sure and how so?
Describe handling a stressful situation.
How would you deal with a difficult customer
Why do you want to work in the moving industry?
Describe your previous work and responsibilities
Are you available to work 6 days a week or weekends-say no
I am sorry that you did not enjoy the interview process but I would not use the word bullying. We present the interview process as a bit stressful as we do our due diligence. The 3 tests are standardized testing, one being a personality profile, the second being a sales test and the third a managerial test. The tests are designed to help us understand who the candidate is so that we increase our chances of choosing the correct person. The interview is designed to test not only the content of the answers but it is also designed to examine ones behavior under a bit of pressure.

Interview
It was a two step interview process. The first with one person. The second with four people. Ultimately they knew the salary that I was looking for from day one. When they made the offer it was less then we had discussed. They came up a little but not enough. As such I declined their offer. Just felt that with the company was reneging on things from day one it was not the type of company I would choose to work for
The candidate responded to an ad that stated the salary structure almost to the dollar. I am sorry that you they were expecting a higher offer but it is not unusual in today's market that candidates will state their past salaries but in the end are willing and accepting of an offer of less. In this case it did not work out but the company did not renege on anything.
