I first spoke with a recruiter over the phone. She asked me few questions about my work background and what the job entails. Then I had a video interview afterwards. The two interviewers were pretty nice guys. One of them was a newly recruited supervisor. They both asked me situational/behavioral question throughout the interview (which I don’t think had anything to do with the job). Once we got towards the end, the both of them gave details of the job and the training. They weren’t sure what the starting pay was, and the start date was toward the end of the month. At the end of the interview, I asked them were there any questions or concerns about my ability to perform this role to which they both said no. Well lo and behold, I received the email from the recruiter that they were moving forward with “stronger” candidates. I even went as far as thanking the recruiter for the opportunity and asked her is there anything I should work on should this role be available again to which I got no response.
