1. "There are two balls in a bag (either black or white). If you draw a white ball, put it back, draw again and it's still a white ball, put it back, what is the probability of drawing a white ball the next time?"
2. "There are 52 playing cards, 26 of which are red and 26 are black. If you draw cards randomly without replacement, gaining +1 for a red card and -1 for a black card, when should you stop to maximize your earnings?"
Went through 3 rounds of interview, all of which were focused on math. they started with basic questions and built up to harder ones. Also some behavioral questioins at the start of each round
Applied online and passed the resume screen, got invited to a first round, didn't pass, was my first time interviewing for quant and nerves made me answer not quite at the best of my ability

I was qualified for the first round of the interview proccess. I was asked about the reasons why i want to become a Quant and why i applied in Jane street for this role. After I was asked two probability questions. The interviewer was ok but at some moments I wasn't sure if she was following my thoughts
