I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Jane Street (London, England) in Apr 2022
Interview
Was given some material to study and then was asked questions about the materials.
The interviewer was not very engaging, looked like he was reading from a script.
A lot of jargon was used although the hod description said you don't need any experience in finance.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
We discussed about the case study, some questions about finance concepts.
First round: Excel exercise (formulas) and write-ups to answer questions Second round: phone interview asking market sizing and brain teaser (math) - didn't pass the second round Interview process pretty quick, always heard back within a week

Interview
Multiple Rounds: - Online Assessment - Phone Interview #1 - Phone Interview #2 (got cut after #1) - Final Round I was asked not to disclose specific questions, but they asked Fermi estimation problems and difficult probability questions. If you are used to Quant Trading interviews, it is not much different. Got cut after Phone Interview #1, even though I thought I performed great. When I asked for an explanation, they said feedback was not part of their review process so that was disappointing.
