      Airport Operations Crew Member Interview

      19 Sept 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Fort Lauderdale, FL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JetBlue (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Sept 2016

      Interview

I applied on 8/15, received an invite for the automated phone interview on 8/29. Completed it on 8/31. Received an invite for a live phone interview on 9/2. Completed phone interview on 9/6 and was invited to the blue review (F2F interview). I had my interview in Ft. Lauderdale with about 50 people. JetBlue made the interview process fun in order to let your guards down & to calm your nerves. The process promptly started at 9:30am with us signing in, handing in our resumes, and getting a name tag. There was a presentation done and we were able to jump in answering questions about Jet blue. We then had to introduce ourselves one by one in front of the class stating why we wanted to work for JetBlue & give a fun fact about ourselves. We were given a 30 minute break afterward. The interview process started with them breaking us up into groups of 3 or 2. I was only asked 2 questions and the process was relatively quick. They let us know that they would be reaching out via phone or email if we would be moving on to the next step. I received a call the bext day & was told I would be moving on and that I would need to start the background check process that day and fingerprinting would be done the following week. Please make sure you dress & look your best! (be groomed and nails look nice) Early is on time and on time is late!!! Hair needs to be pulled back away from your face if it is past shoulder length. Smile & do not pull out you phone for any reason. Make sure your phone is on silent (not vibrate) or off the entire time. Mingle and get to know the people there before the interview starts, while on your break, and when waiting to be called for your interview. Maintain eye contact at all time Make sure to answer in the STAR method (state the situation, the task that needs to be completed, the action that you took, and the end result) Be your true self and do not sound scripted. All in all, even though I was completely nervous, I did not let it show. This was a great interview process, I can't wait to start working for my #1 favorite go to airline, and work alongside & meet my new "family" again that went through this process with me.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at JetBlue (Providence, RI) in Jun 2024

      Interview

It's definitely a very long process where you have to have a lot of patience in waiting! At least that's how it was for me. I applied June 4th, 2024. I got an email the very next day inviting me to do a virtual audio interview. Pretty standard interview, not as complicated. After the virtual interview you had to complete some personality assessments/games. After all of that was completed, August 1st, 2024, I got an email inviting me for a virtual interview with two of the supervisors alongside some other candidates at the same time. It was a group interview so it was very interesting to experience. The interview followed by a series of around 5 questions mostly about past experiences you've gone through that would showcase how you've dealt with customer service. After the interview, about six days passed by and I received an email saying that I passed to the compliance stage and gave me instructions on the Drug test, Background check, and fingerprinting I needed to do. It took about 5 days for me to complete everything and on August 19th, I received another email saying that I passed the compliance stage and had to schedule a quick phone call with my recruiter the same day. I spoke with my recruiter, he officially offered me the job, told me a little bit about the role, the pay, benefits, and also explained that I would have to go to Orlando, Florida to Jetblue University for training for a duration of about 2 weeks. I will now be heading to Florida for my AO Training in about two weeks. Overall, it was definitely a long process but worth it!
