Group interview. Interviewers assess you and tally up your individual scores to see if you qualify. It's like a test. If you beat the pass mark, you will either get a job offer, or you will get put into a queue for when another one becomes available. If you don't perform well enough, you fail and get rejected.
Hardest part is the online tests. 2 days later I was invited to an interview by email. Turned up 20 mins early as requested and it was me and someone else in the reception area. Had a good chit chat and eventually a manager collected us and brought us to a room with 2 large tables with seats around each of them.
We were then taken away separately to our own individual one-to-one interviews. Easy questions. Explain a time when... etc. They took some information like availability and previous jobs.
We were then taken back to the large room and as we waiting a few more applicants came in. 3 applicants per table with one interviewer per table assessing us. We were asked to work as a team to come up with useful hints and tips for new employees to give better customer service and deal with complains well. Take initiative here and take the pen and jot down everyone's points and keep chatty as the interviewer keeps a close eye on you to see how much you
are cooperating. I offered to present our ideas and they loved it.
Got an email a couple days later offering me a job.
