I went through several phone interviews before being invited on site for a full day of in person interviews. While interviewers were generally friendly, 9 hours of interviews in a single day seems excessive (that's almost as long as Hillary was interviewed over Benghazi...) and part of this involved a technical challenge which seemed poorly thought through. I was treated with respect throughout, but I did think the interviewers could have been better aligned with one another. I had vocally called out an area where I didn't meet requirements in phone screens and been assured that was not a blocker, only for one of the onsite interviewers to be very clear that to her that was an insurmountable obstacle.
