    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Keen Software House in July 2016.

    Interview

I applied through their website and after a month or so, they contacted me and informed me about the company and their working conditions, risks that I might be taking, etc. It started nice and they send me an assignment to complete in two weeks. Assignment was improving and fixing problems of a 2D asteroid shooting game. It was not that hard and they wanted me to solve issues like memory leaks, increasing processing time, optimizations, etc. But then they could not finalize my result and process is completed around 3-4 months and I had to decline some other opportunities to wait them, because I believed that I did well since I got really good results in all of the test which tells you how well you did. Apparently, I did not. They told me that I had design flow at some point.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Keen Software House (Prague (Czech Republic)) in May 2015.

    Interview

My contact person was very responsive, very polite; I was given a testing task over email and later invited for an interview - this was the nicest job interview I've ever had: very professional, and at the same time felt more like a friendly conversation than an actual interview.

    Interview Questions

    • I was given model situations and asked how would I solve them. Also, prior to the interview they sent me a video about the project I was being hired for, and asked questions and my opinion about it.   Answer Question
