Anonymous Interview Candidate in Miami, FL
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kobi Karp (Miami, FL) in Dec 2021
Smooth process, I was reached out to shortly after applying. The employee that conducted my interview was very welcoming and professional. Although the interview was conducted via zoom, I felt as though I was there at the office. All questions were direct and I felt I did well with my responses. Seems like a fun environment to work in.
- What are your strengths? Why should we hire you? How do you handle pressure? What can you offer us that someone else can not?

At Kobi Karp Architecture I would say I had a very easy interview but definitely had to be prepared to show how diverse I can be in the work environment.
- How long have you been designing?

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Kobi Karp (Lauderhill, FL) in Jun 2018
Don’t even INTERVIEW with them. Cold, rude, unprofessional and dismissive! Sweet lady brought me a Cuban coffee and water Had an interview set-up (w/ the CFO personally) for an EA position to the CFO which was confirmed by my recruiter, the CFO & another person at KK. I read the bad reviews, & they concerned me but decided to interview anyway. Drove 45 min. to Miami, paid almost $10 in parking, arrived 15 min. early, checked in with the Receptionist, After waiting in the lobby, was shown to a small open conference table and told to “have a seat here”. Several minutes later, another assistant (I assume) sat down and said “my name is ______. (she did not tell me her position w/ KK) You are here for the EA position? Tell me your experience”, (she had my resume in front of her), She jotted down a few notes on my CV (so as to appear to be interested)...Then asked, “when can you come back for an interview?” (what?!) she said the CFO was on a conference call. Then she said “we’ll call you”, then literally, got up & walked away. I had to show myself out. Spoke a TOTAL of 5 min., there was no apology for “something suddenly coming up, and can we reschedule?”, no “we appreciate you coming”. NOTHING. If this is how they treat people interviewing?......RUN! Remember...THEY asked to interview ME....not the other way around. Believe the bad reviews. COLD, RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL They would never receive or be open to advice. Clearly Mgmt. has created this type of culture.
- Tell me your experience.

Very easy job interview, they are only interested if you know AutoCAD or 3dmax.. Some basic questions about what you do. They had a little bit of bad attitude, the interviewer and the people working at the office.

Unprofessional, to short. The person who did the interview wasn't prepare less was caring of the process of interview. There where scream and shouts from the backs office and a big commotion; if there were referring handling stressful situation at the time that was the perfect example.
- How well I can handle pressure?
